Introductory Statistics

MATH 1231


This course is based on College-level algebra/Math modeling
and will involve study of basic descriptive and inferential
statistics. Topics include probability, random variables,
probability functions, measures of central tendency and
variation, sampling, and statistical estimation and
prediction.
Pre-Requisites:
MATH 1001 with a minimum US grade of C
OrMATH 1101 with a minimum US grade of C
OrMATH 1111 with a minimum US grade of C
OrMATH 1113 with a minimum US grade of D
OrMATH 1241 with a minimum US grade of D
OrMATH 1501 with a minimum US grade of D
