Intro to Marriage & the Family

SOCI 2293


An introduction to the structure, processess, problems, and
adjustments of contemporary marriage and family life. The
course includes historical development, cross-cultural
variations, and analysis of forces of change. It is
recommended but not required that SOCI 1101 be taken prior
to SOCI 2293. [Note: Learning Support students who are
required to take ENGL 0099 and/or READ 0099 must exit the
requirements before they can enroll in this course.]
