SCI 1901A


Provides an introduction to the Earth's place in the
Universe. Topics include the origin of the Solar System,
planets inside and outside of the Solar System, the life and
death of stars, and the Big Bang. Students will also study
the tools of astronomy and how they have shaped its
progress. Topics will be covered from a historical as well
as a contemporary point of view.
