American Govt. - Honors

An introductory level survey of the American political
system in an international context, emphasizing across
cultural approach to the study of the structure and
processes of policy decision-making. The course
incorporates comparison of the American political system and
other types of political systems. The course also includes
the study of world geography, emphasizing a knowledge of
the global configuration of nation states.
This course is restricted to students enrolled in the Honors
Program. Students with a 3.0 cumulative GPA who are not
in the Honors Program may be enrolled with permission
from the department chair or the Honors Program Director.
