This course prepares nurses to transition into new roles
and advanced nursing practice by exploring a wide range
of theories from nursing and other sciences. Students
will understand the role of knowledge development in
advancing a discipline. Students will critique, analyze,
and evaluate selected theories and incorporate these
theories into their advanced nursing practice roles.
