Perioperative Nursing

NURS 4801


This course provides the student with an in-depth look at
the practice of Perioperative nursing. Didactic and clinical
experiences are provided in area hospitals with students
functioning in all aspects of intraoperative nursing
including scrubbing, circulating, and recovering surgical
patients.
Prerequisite: Junior Nursing Status.
