Health Assessment

NURS 3201


This course provides the learner with the knowledge
necessary to perform a health assessment on adults and use
critical thinking skills to identify risk factors for
actual or potential alterations in health. Emphasis will
be placed on interviewing skills in taking a health history
and differentiating between normal and abnormal physical
findsing when conducting a head-to-toe physical examination.
Pre-requisite: B.S.N Admission.
Pre-Requisites:
NURS 3201L with a minimum US grade of S (can be taken concurrently)
OrNURS 3202 with a minimum US grade of S (can be taken concurrently)
