Professional Issues

NURS 3101


This course is designed to enhance the registered
nurse's perception of the role of the professional
practitioner in meeting the health needs of society.
Selected theories, issues and trends in nursing will
be analyzed. Historical, societal, political, ethical
and legal factors impacting the profession will be explored.
Modular seminar topics include a wide range of current
selected topics driven by the current professional
and social environment. (For R.N.-B.S.N. studente only.)
Prerequisite(s): Licensure as a Registered Nurse.
Pre-Requisites:
NURS 3110 with a minimum US grade of C (can be taken concurrently)
OrHLTH 3110 with a minimum US grade of C (can be taken concurrently)

Co-requisites:
