Pharmacology- Medical Office

MEDA 1150


A study of commonly prescribed drugs, calculation of
dosages, and techniques for administration. Includes
practice in intradermal, subcutaneous, and intramuscular
injections. Grade of D in any MEDA course will not count
toward graduation in the Medical Assisting program.
Pre-Requisites:
MEDA 1110 with a minimum US grade of C Or
MEDT 1110 with a minimum US grade of C
AndMEDA 1125 with a minimum US grade of C (can be taken concurrently)
AndMEDA 1130 with a minimum US grade of C (can be taken concurrently)
AndMEDA 1140 with a minimum US grade of C (can be taken concurrently) Or
MEDT 1140 with a minimum US grade of C
