Medical Terminology

MEDA 1100

Introduction to medical terminology. The student will learn
suffixes, prefixes, root words, and basic principles of
medical word building which can be applied to develop an
extensive medical vocabulary. Grade of D in any MEDA
course will not count toward graduation in the Medical
Assisting program. Credit by exam is available prior
to enrolling in this course. See advisor for information.
