Numerical MethodsMATH 4320This course is an introduction to numerical techniques used in applied mathematics. Main topics will be chose from various modules, including, but not limited to: direct and iterative methods for solutions of linear systems; numerical differentiation and integration; interpolation and splines; initial value and boundary value problems for ordinary differential equations; least squares problems; Monte Carlo methods; initial and boundary value problems for partial differential equations.
