Methods of Teaching Sec. Math

MATH 4050


In this course, students will explore theory and
pedagogy of mathematics instruction with a focus on
teaching methods across a variety of mathematical
topics. The emphasis will be on learning and
communicating mathematics. Topics will be taken
from Number & Operations, Geometry, Algebra, Data
Analysis, and Discrete Mathematics. Appropriate
integration of technology for mathematics teaching
and learning will be emphasized. Twenty (20) hours
of field experience will be included.
