Teaching Reading Content Areas

LART 3010


A course that focuses on the strategies necessary for
effective communication in language arts, mathematics,
science and social studies. Reading selections
and strategies will reflect the subject matter
content of the various disciplines, with emphasis on
mathematics, science and social studies. Includes
laboratory/practicum component. Required for all middle
level teacher education students.
Prerequisite(s): Admission to the Middle Level Teacher
Education Program.
