Infrastructure for E-Commerce

ITMM 3413

This course concentrates on the infrastructure
necessary to develop e-commerce websites.
Topic includes e-commerce business models,
network architectures and security, and e-commerce
architectures. The relationship between web clients,
web/commerce servers and back-end systems
will be covered as well as the design elements
of storefront implementation. Also discussed:
tuning and load balancing, server management tools,
and secure electronic transactions. Students will
evaluate a variety of vendor solutions.
Pre-Requisites:


	ITFN 3134 with a minimum US grade of C
And	ITFN 3314 with a minimum US grade of C
And	ITFN 3601 with a minimum US grade of C
And	ITFN 2411 with a minimum US grade of C
And	ITFN 2211 with a minimum US grade of C Or ITFN 2511 with a minimum US grade of C
