communications and networking as essential elements of
computer and business information systems. Through
extensive industry research, students gain familiarity with
concepts of data communication infrastructure, industry
trends, hardware, software, media, transmission equipment,
wireless and satellite communication. Includes an emphasis
on LAN segmentation.
