World Literature I -Pre-Modern

ENGL 2111


A survey of important works of world literature from
ancient times through the mid-seventeenth century viewed in
both historical and contemporary perspective.(Works are
read in translation where necessary.) Critical thinking
and communication skills are emphasized.
[Note: Learning Support students who are required to take
ENGL 0099 and/or READ 0099 must exit the requirement(s)
before they can enroll in this couse.]
Pre-Requisites:
ENGL 1102 with a minimum US grade of C
OrENGL 112 with a minimum UG grade of C
