English Comp. I - Honors

ENGL 1101H


A composition course focusing on skills required for
effective writing in a variety of contexts, with emphasis
on exposition, analysis, and argumentation, and also
including introdutory use of a variety of research skills.
[Notes: (1) Learning Support students who are required to
take ENGL 0099 and/or READ 0099 must exit the requirement(s)
before they can enroll in this course. (2) A grade of C or
better (or K) is required in ENGL 1101 prior to enrollment
toward graduation in any degree program.]
This course is restricted to students enrolled in the Honors
Program. Students with a 3.0 cumulative GPA who are not in
the Honors Program may be enrolled with permission
from the department chair or the Honors Program Director.
