Middle Level Teaching Methods

EDUC 3100


This course is designed to provide middle level teacher
education majors with planning, instructional and management
strategies necessary for exemplary instruction in the
classroom. Attention will be given to those teaching
strategies that might be used for interdisciplinary
instruction as well as instruction in the four content
areas. The course will focus on key concepts of best
practices, a continuum of assessment strategies, and
classroom management strategies. A pedagogy lab will be
integrated within the course period to allow for application
of new knowledge and skills. This course is required
for all students majoring in middle level education.
Pre-Requisites:
EDUC 3000 with a minimum US grade of C (can be taken concurrently)
AndEDUC 3010 with a minimum US grade of C (can be taken concurrently)
