Dental Radiology Laboratory

DHYG 3120L


The techniques of exposing, processing, and mounting dental
radiographs in a clinical setting will be presented and
practiced using manikins then clinical patients.
Radiographic anatomic landmarks are presented and studied
for interpretation along with radiographic evidence of
pathology. Radiation hygiene for operator and patient
safety is emphasized.
Pre-Requisites:
DHYG 3120 with a minimum US grade of C (can be taken concurrently)
