Dental Radiology

DHYG 3120


A comprehensive study of the principles of ionizing
radiation and application of radiographic theory in dental
hygiene practice. Radiation hygiene for operator and patient
safety is emphasized. A radiation safety examination must
be successfully completed in order to recieve a grade for
this course. Prerequisite: B.S.D.H. Admission.
Pre-Requisites:
DHYG 3120L with a minimum US grade of C (can be taken concurrently)
