Global Contexts in C.M.S.

CMS 4500


A study of communication and media in selected non-Western
cultures. In addition, the course examines the roles played
by media in the processes of cultural and economic
globalization. A capstone course, it includes exit
assessment of writing and speaking skills for the
baccalaureate degree program in Communication and Media
Studies.
Pre-Requisites:
CMS 3101 with a minimum US grade of C
AndCMS 3020 with a minimum US grade of C Or
COMM 3010 with a minimum US grade of C
AndCMS 3200 with a minimum US grade of C (can be taken concurrently)

Co-requisites:
