Great Works in Art History

ART 5000


A survey of the high points of art history which examines
aesthetic, historical, cultural, psychological, and other
issues relating to art history, from various critical
perspectives. The course will examine great works of art,
ranging from the highlights of ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia
to the classical era, on to the Renaissance, and beyond
to more modern masterpieces.
